Questions homeowners ask us.
Do I need to plan automation before construction?
Ideally, yes. KNX uses a dedicated bus cable alongside your electrical wiring, so the best results come from planning during design or before plastering. We also work on renovations and can advise on what is practical in a finished home.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Nothing changes inside the house. KNX devices communicate directly over the bus, so switches, scenes, sensors and schedules keep working. Only remote access from outside your home needs the internet.
Can I keep using normal switches?
Yes. We use elegant keypads and touch panels that feel like switches, and every room remains fully usable by guests, family and staff without an app.
Which brands do you work with?
KNX is an open standard, so we select proven devices from established KNX and DALI manufacturers for each project, rather than locking you into one brand. We confirm compatibility in writing with our suppliers before we specify.
Can the system be expanded later?
Yes. Rooms, devices and scenes can be added over time. We document every installation so future changes are straightforward.
Do you work with architects and electrical contractors?
Yes. We provide device schedules, wiring guidance and distribution board layouts for your consultants and electrical team, and coordinate on site during commissioning.
